Week 4 review - Week 5 Preview
Weekly matchups:
Gameday v. Obiwon: Obi +9
Super Troop v. Luucious: Even Matchup of the Week
L-view vs. Habib: L-view +2
McLovin v. Russell: Russ +6
Aegis v. Me#1: Me#1 +1
Sweep v. BBB: Sweep +4
Injuries are running rampant, USATODAY.com reports 42 injuries to significant fantasy owned players.
There's plenty of injuries to go around, but some teams are sucking up more then others. Teams decimated by injuries include: GameDay, Habib, Aegis, BBB, and Me#1. Most other teams have injuries, these are the teams with 2 or more.
3 weeks into the season, we are starting to see the injuries take their tolls. GameDay, Habib, Aegis are rolling towards the gutter. What's your excuse Loren? These teams should begin considering if the injuries are worth hanging on to? Possibly trades can be negotiated to ease the load of missing stars.
TRADE DISCUSSION:
3 trades have been accepted so far:
Rudy Fernandez/LaMarcus Aldridge:Andreis Biedrins/Mike Conley
Fairly even, though if Rudy and LaMarcus step up, GameDay should end up the winner of this trade. Currently Biedrins outweighs the poor play from Aldridge enough that Luucious is getting the better end of the stick.
Mike Miller/Jason Thompson/Roger Mason:Daniel Gibson/Andre Iguodala/Tyson Chandler:
Though seemingly uneven on paper, O'toole assures me that Iguodala and Chandler will be stepping up their production to outweigh the value of Mike Miller and Roger Mason....we will see. Say hello to 3 TO/game from Iguodala. Loren don't think you're going to win TO's now...u still have Howard. HAHAHA
Michael Beesley/Mario Chalmers:Luke Ridnour/Marquis Daniels:
Game Day trades for MIA's rookies to ease his injury potential...freaking Ridnour. O'toole takes advantage and gets the consistent play from Marquis Daniels....(Dunleavy will never return). Chalmers is essentially shit baggage.
Matchup Analysis:
Game Day vs. Obi: Winner - Obiwon
Though Game Day is making moves to slowdown the loss of his players, those won't clear soon enough to avoid this whooping.
SuperTroopers v. Luucious: Winner - Luucious by 1
The most interesting matchup of this week. Expect it to be close with that chump Ben Gordon pulling a victory on the last day.
L-view Trailblazers v. Habib: Winner - L-view
Habib is suffering through his injuries, expect Stoudemire to add to the fun by completing the Injury Trifecta (Def: {noun} When your 1st 3 draft picks get injured. sample sentence: "Habib's fantasy team was decimated when inflicted by the dreaded Injury Trifecta.")
McLovin v. Russell: Winner - Russell
I like this match-up. McLovin is rolling from a 10-1 smashing of Loren, but Russell has been a competitive steady player so far, expect McLovin rookies to fall into a Thanksgiving Coma and sign over the week.
Aegis v. Me#1: Winner - Me#1
As bad as he's been he can't be that terrible. Aegis has too many injuries but Me#1 has Durant....I don't know who is worse, but Me#1 should be able to take this one home.
Sweep the leg v. BBB: Winner - Sweep
I'm going with our 2 week #1 team. Sorry BBB....I don't like the injured M. Redd, and Sweep has been playing well. Joe Johnson is back to lead the charge.
That's it, Thanks for reading post here or on the League page.

Week 3 Review - Week 4 Preview
Sweep the leg ends up in first, followed by Team Russell. Both teams had solid week 1 and week 2 performances.
The Headline of the week reads: "McLovin suffers a 10-1 sweep to join They shall call Me#1 for the TOILETBOWL matchup of the week!"
The majority of the injuries are being sucked up by 3 or 4 teams, giving healthy teams an advantage they should capitalize on and move up the rankings.
Heavily injured teams include: GameDay, Habib's All Stars, and Aegis Fang
Key injuries for week 4 are:
Game Day: Tony Parker
Super Troopers: Andrei Kirilenko
Habib's All Stars: Jason Richardson, Josh Smith
BBB: Michael Redd, Leandro Barbosa
Aegis Fang: Mike Dunleavy
McLovin: Deron Williams
Here's the game count if you couldn't get my excel attachment:
Game Day v. Luucious: 44-49 Luucious + 5
Troopers v. Habib: 48-45 Troopers +3
L-View v. BBB: 44-46 BBB+2
Obiwon v. Russell: 50-45 Obi +5
McLovin v. Me#1: 44-45 Me#1 +1 TOILETBOWL MATCHUP
Aegis v. Sweep: 45-46 Sweep +1
Matchup Analysis:
Luucious v. Gameday: Big win for Luucious
GameDay is suffering from a depleted roster, and Luucious is maintaining a 100% healthy roster. Look for Luucious to reclaim the lead spot with a big win this week.
Troopers v. Habib: Adv. Troopers
Troopers is not the same injured team Game Day was last week. Expect Troopers to take advantage of a game count advantage and a health advantage. J-Rich and J-Smith would sure come in handy.
L-View v. BBB: Adv. L-View
Dwayne Wade has been hot, Baron Davis is doing well. I think this is going to be a close one. BBB has a good team, in B. Miller, P. Gasol, K. Garnett, and P. Pierce, but I think he's going to suffer missing M. Redd and L. Barbosa.
Obiwon v. Russell: Adv. Russell
Obiwon has the count advantage, but I give this week to Russell. Russell's team is hot, and playing well. I think Obi had a fortunate, although decisive, victory against Loren last week. He is playing a potential playoff runner in Russell though.
McLovin v. Me#1: Adv. Me#1
Though both teams are struggling. I like Loren's for this matchup. I think Me#1's team is a solid team. O'toole, don't blame a loss on Mehmet Okur ever again. Look for Loren's big men to dominate this matchup. O'toole should only take home 3ptm, and FT%.
Aegis v. Sweep: Adv. Sweep
Injuries still plaguing Aegis, and Sweep being our current number 1 and roaring on all cylinders. Expect Sweep to take the win, I'm predicting a 8-3, which will send Aegis rolling towards the bottom of our charts.

Week 2 High Scorers: +/- shows difference with 2nd place.
FGM: Luucious 239, +1
FG%: McLovin 49.7%, +2.4%
FT%: Habib 83.7%, +2.2%
3ptM: Russell 53, +8
3pt%: Luucious 41.5%, +0.1%
Pts: Luucious 664, +23
Rebs: Luucious 288, +18
Assists: Russell 158, +7
Steals: Troopers 58, +8
Blks: Luucious 36, +2
T/O: BBB 52, -14
Key Injuries:
Gameday - Tony Parker
McLovin - Deron Williams
Aegis Fang - Josh Howard, Mike Dunleavy
Obiwon - Corey Magette
Habib - Josh Smith
BBB - Greg Oden, Michael Redd
Key Scheduling: All NBA teams play 3 or 4 games this week except LAC and Was, both of which play 2. Caron Butler, Baron Davis owners beware.
Game Count:
Gameday vs. Habib: +3 Habib
Super Troopers vs. L-view: L-view +3
Luucious vs. Russell: Russell +6
Obiwon vs. Me#1: Me#1 +2
McLovin vs. Sweep: Sweep +7
Aegis-Fang vs. BBB: Aegis +1
Week 3 Matchup Analysis:
Gameday vs. Habib: Matchup of the Week - 50/50
Key Injuries to both teams. Habib should win points and blocks, Gameday has the advantage in assist and 3pts. Look for %'s to decide the week.
Super Troopers vs. L-view: Adv. Super Troopers
L-view will probably win assists and FT%, despite Chris Paul. I'm predicting that's all he wins though. Expecting a big win from Super Troopers. 8-3 or better.
Luucious vs. Russell: PSE Office Match - 50/50
Last week's big scorers. Key players to this matchup: Troy Murphy - can he keep Luucious going in 3's?, Jason Kidd - can he keep Russell going in Rebs? %'s to be the deciding factor: Luucious should have FG% in the bag. Check the other two for the victor.
Obiwon vs. Me#1: Historic David vs. Goliath Matchup - Adv. Me#1
#1 should take this week. He should dominate all big man categories, but I'm afraid that's it. Expect this one to be a close win 6-5 or 7-4 in favor of #1.
McLovin vs. Sweep: Adv. Sweep
Key injury w/Deron Williams, gives PG adv. to sweep. Big man categories will be close. The key is O'toole's rookies. If they can continue last week's tear it will be his win. Small win 6-5 or 7-4 in favor of Sweep.
Aegis vs. BBB: Adv. Aegis
Key injuries to both. Advantage to Aegis. The weaknesses in both team's pg's gives Aegis the clear advantage having Steve Nash. Big men categories are a wash in this matchup. Big win predicted. 8-3 or more for Aegis.
Thanks for tuning in. Check your e-mails for Excel Analysis.

Cocoa Butter 2008
Draft Day reaches as I see them:
Brandon Roy - 1st Rd.
Andris Biedrins - 5th Rd.
Rudy Fernandez - 10th Rd.
5 Rookies
Danny Granger - 1st Rd.
Crappy Kevin "I shoot 1% from the field" Durant - 5th Rd.
Brad Miller - 5th Rd.
Greg Oden - 6th Rd.
Marcus Camby - 3rd Rd.
Best Picks of the draft:
Tony Parker - 7th Rd.
Ginobili - 6th Rd.
Stephen Jackson - 6th Rd.
Ben Wallace - 13th Rd.
Steve Nash - 2nd Rd.
Russell Westbrook - 16th Rd.
Devin Harris - 5th Rd.
T.J. Ford - 8th Rd.
There are two matchups I'd like to highlight this week:
They are the ROOMMATE MATCHUP - BBB Vs. Super Troopers 5 (Loser Cleans the toilet with his toothbrush)
and Matchup of the Week is - Aegis-Fang Vs. McLovin
Can Jim's rookies put up enough to beat Aegis-Fang who hasn't lost a game since Feb. 24 2008.
Here's a list of the weekly matchups and the game count: Game count includes how many games a team can possibly get this week. Based on their team at the beginning of the week. (doesn't account for add/drops)
Game Day vs. L-view Trailblazers: 41-44 (L-view +3)
Super Troopers 5 vs. BBB: 47 - 40 (Troopers +7)
Habib's All Stars vs. Team Russell: 44 - 50 (Russell +6)
Luucious vs. They Shall Call Me#1: 42 - 45 (Me#1 +3)
Team Obiwon vs. Sweep the Leg: 43 - 44 (Leg +1)
McLovin vs. Aegis-Fang: 44 - 47 (Aegis +3)
My predictions are:
Game Day over L-view, because L-view's team sucks.
Troopers over BBB, BBB has no answer to C. Paul, and has key injuries to M. Redd/G. Oden.
Habib/Russell Draw: It's going to be a close one, and I think Russell's extra 7 games puts him ahead.
Luucious/Loren Draw: Both teams have strength in Reb/Blocks - Loren might have the advantage, but look for Luucious to win Points outright.
Leg over Obi: Iverson's out on trade, and J. Johnson/T.J Ford are playing great.
Aegis over McLovin - maybe in a week if the rookies pan out, but despite a loss of Dunleavy I give it to Aegis.
