Headline of the Week: "Bleeding hearts and broken dreams. Habib catches a break, and the streak discontinues."
Game Count:
Game Day v. Obiwon: Even
Troopers v. Luucious: Luucious +1
L-view v. Habib: Habib +2
McLovin v. Russell: McLovin +2
Aegis v. Me#1: Me#1 +1
BBB v. Sweep: BBB +3
Predictions:
Game Day over Obi: Obi's sliding a bit, and I should be able to take advantage.
Luucious over Troopers: Troopers drastically injured especially for this week. No rebound until after break for Troopers.
Habib over L-view: The 2 game advantage and the fact that L-view can only consistently win 1 category.
McLovin over Russell: Russell's hurt, McLovin is playing well.
Me#1 over Aegis: If Loren will set his rosters, I'm expecting victory for him.
Sweep over BBB: Sweep's injuries are clearing, he's looking strong again.
Short week this week, at most 2 games per team. 1 game teams include: Nets/Magic/T-wolves/Jazz.
Owners suffering from schedule:
Luucious: D. Howard
Troopers: Al Harrington
McLovin: D. Williams
L-view: D. Harris + V. Carter
Enjoy the All Star Weekend. Don't think too highly of your Allstars. I don't give much credit to a system that names Allen Iverson as a starter, and doesn't even get Nash on the team.
Good luck with the short week.

Week 15 - Preview
Headline of the week: "Super Troopers averts disaster, L-view starts strong but finishes flat."
Review of last weeks games: McLovin spanks Sweep, pulls into tie for 4th. Gameday defeats Habib, moves into 7th. Aegis defeats BBB, beginning his accent.
Game count:
Gameday v. Luucious: Day +3
Troopers v. Habib: Troop +2
L-view v. BBB: BBB+1
Obi v. Russell: Russ +5
McLovin v. Me#1: Me#1 +3
Aegis v. Sweep: Sweep +2
Predictions:
Luucious is missing too many players, I'm expecting a win for myself.
Both Habib and Troopers are hurt, but I'm going to have to predict for the streak. Troopers slight margin.
L-view v. BBB: L-view slight win. I'm not impressed with either team, but L-view seems to be a bit hotter then BBB. Hopefully BBB can b0unce back from Redd.
Obi v. Russell: Russell big win.
McLovin v. Me#1: Instinct is telling me McLovin on this one, but tradition tells me Me#1 on principle. Go Loren!
Aegis v. Sweep: The climb for playoffs stops here Aegis. Sweep big win.

Week 14 - Notes
Headline of the week: "Season ending injury spells disaster for BBB."
We are a little past the halfway point this season and the playoff picture is starting to come into focus. Currently there's a huge 4-way tie for 7th place, and 5th and 6th places are only a handful of games away.
Injuries are currently dictating the performances each week. Teams with few injuries win, and teams with many injuries lose.
Game Count: In case you didn't get the e-mail
Habib +2
Troopers/L-view even
Luucious +4
Me#1 +2
Sweep +4
Aegis +2
Performance: Aegis-Fang has woken up and is trying to make a 2nd half push for playoffs. GameDay extends his lead over L-view to 2-0. Troopers capitalizes on BBB's key injuries to win 10-1, continuing his undefeated streak. Luucious drops 4th week in a row. Losses have been relatively small except for an 8-3 to Sweep. Is his early season lead dwindling?
Previews:
GameDay v. Habib: 2 injury plagued teams - Giving myself the W this week. My team is on the mend, and I don't think Habib can keep up.
Troopers v. L-view: Looking for Troopers to continue his win streak.
Luucious v. Russell: 4 game lead for luucious this week. He's on a L-4 streak, looking for him to break it. Only 2 games for Dallas.
Obiwon v. Me#1: Look for Loren to add another win to his column, further solidifying his spot as the 12th best team.
McLovin v. Sweep: Expecting a win from Sweep, McLovin has many injuries, and Sweep is only missing Carmelo.
Aegis v. BBB: Aegis is going to take a massive win on this week. Without Redd, Aegis' Granger is going to rain all over BBB, in the most disgusting manner you can think of.
On a side note: Super Troopers - I'd like to offer you Mike Conley for Chris Paul, just give me a couple minutes to pick him up.
That's it. Hopefully I won't miss any more weeks.

Week 11 - Notes
Headline of the week: "Two strong showings vaults Habib into 6th."
Notable schedule alerts: Cavs and Blazers only play 2 games this week.
Matchup of the week: Super Troopers v. Team Russell
Our 2 top teams are duking it out this week. Stephen Jackson has recently gone down injured as well as Daequan Cook. This should put a bit of a damper on Troopers' 3 point production. Andrew Bogut and Rip Hamilton injuries will likely prove as hindering to Team Russell. I'm predicting a W for Super Troopers.
Other notable matchups include L-view v. Me#1. I think this is a matchup Loren can win. He's dropped almost every week, but I think that the win L-view gave to Aegis was not a fluke. And a further injury on Devin Harris doesn't hurt the matter. GL Loren.
Trade Discussion:
A flurry of trades has happened, and injured teams (Loren/Gameday) are trying to salvage what they can get.
Aldridge/Chalmers to L-view - Davis/Deng to Gameday: I think I got the better end of this trade, but Chalmers/Aldridge are ripping it up and Davis/Deng are injured. (Winner: L-view)
Howard/Duhon/Curry to Luucious - Stuckey/Artest/Lee to Loren: (Winner: Luucious) 5th highest assist man in the league and Dwight Howard, need I say more? Artest is struggling to play every game, and Stuckey could be the sleeper bright spot for Loren.
Scola to Loren - Monta to Aegis: (Winner: Loren) Probably the best trade Loren has made this season, I wouldn't count on Monta putting up the numbers that he did last season, and Yao will only be healthy for so long before Scola takes over the starting position.
Sheed to Luucious - Murphy to Gameday: (Even) Luucious gets the defensive stats I take the rebounds. Dislike sheed all you want, he does things that other big men don't and he does it all in less then 1 t/o per game. Murphy is the defensiveless version of Sheed, hence the 25 rating on Sheed and the 45 rating on Murphy. I made this trade due to the injury factor.

Habib vs. Aegis: Habib +5
Luucious vs. McLovin: Luucious +1
Obiwon vs. BBB: BBB+2
NBA Schedule Notes: Jazz and Lakers play only twice this week. Bad news for Kobe/Deron Williams owners.
Predictions:
Russell over Gameday: Russell's team is awesome, Billups is crushing the league.
Troopers over Me#1: Super Troopers currently has the best team. They are healthy and they are awesome. Look for Troopers to win it all if Yao stays healthy.
L-view over Sweep: Sweep is decimated by injuries.
Habib over Aegis: Fluke win by Aegis, Habib's better rounded team will be harder to beat then L-view.
Luucious over McLovin: Reeling from last weeks arab attack McLovin is yet to get his team back into form.

Week 6 review - Week 7 preview
Headline of the week: "Gutter-bowlers Habib and Gameday edge first wins in 3 weeks. How bad must their opponents have been?"
Game Count:
GameDay v Aegis: Even
Troopers v McLovin: Troopers +2 Matchup of the week
L-view v Obiwon: Obiwon +1
Habib v Luucious: Habib +4
Sweep v Russell: Sweep +1
Me#1 v BBB: Even
Predictions:
GameDay over Aegis: Injuries are healed, Gameday is full strength minus Arenas.
McLovin over Troopers: Troopers has key injuries to S.Jackson and G. Wallace.
L-view over Obiwon: K-Mart x 2 are out. Obi is critically injured.
Habib over Luucious: Habib has avoided the trifecta and Luucious is missing Boozer/Mcgrady/Marbury.
Sweep - Russell: DRAW - I'm not sure how it'll go. The two strongest/healthiest teams in our league. If it's a big win/loss it'll be by just a few points in each category.
Me#1 over BBB: It's a stretch picking Loren, but Boston only plays 2 games this week. Little production from Pierce/Garnett.
Key Scheduling: 2 game teams are Celts and Nuggets.
MATCHUP OF THE WEEK: McLovin v. Troopers.
I wanted to do a tribute to this matchup which has stood the test of 4 years. For these two teams this week is not just another Win/Loss, but rather a testament to years of trash-talk and rivalry. In 4 previous Head-2-Head matchups Troopers leads the matchups 3-1. The total score shows a closer story though: 24-19. The question is whether McLovin's hot rookies can continue their streaks, and if the injuries to Troopers clan is enough to open the door for Mclovin to close the all-time win/loss record between him and Troopers. Key player matchups: C. Paul v. D. Williams. Paul plays 4 games to Williams' 3. X-factors include: Westbrook/Marion/Camby from McLovin's camp. Camby has been a machine, in order for McLovin to out-do Troopers' big men, Camby has to stay true to form. Westbrook is coming off a hot week, can he continue? and Marion is finding a mediocre form in Miami, can he pick up his play to justify his 5th pick overall?
That's it - I will post an update to this blog later in the week to follow this historic Matchup.
Thanks for reading and keep posting,

Week 5 review - Week 6 Preview
Headline of the week: "They Shall Call Me#1 claims first much needed win. Aegis Fang continues to slide."
Game Count:
Game Day v. McLovin: 44-43 GD+1
Troopers v. Obiwon: 37 - 50 Obi +13
L-view v. Luucious: 40 -42 Luucious +2
Habib v. BBB: BBB +3
Aegis v. Russell: Russell +2
Sweep v. Me#1: Even
Predictions:
Game Day over McLovin: on principle.
Obiwon over Troopers: Too much game count differential. Troopers suffering from injuries.
L-view over Luucious: Luucious suffering from injuries, Hou only plays twice.
Habib over BBB: Predicting first "W" for Habib. Injuries are curbing.
Russell over Aegis: Aegis has too many injuries, even though Russell has some too, Aegis' are too significant.
Me#1 over Sweep: MATCHUP of the WEEK: I'm predicting Loren follows up with another win, it's going to be a small one, but a win nonetheless.
NBA Schedule: Note Kings and Rockets only play twice this week.
Trade Discussion:
Ron Artest/Adam Morrisson for Bargnani/Duhon:
Immediate value has Loren winning this trade. My prediction is that Artest picks it up, with T-Mac moving from 1 injury to the next, and that Bargnani falls off his hot streak pretty sharply in the next couple weeks. Adam Morrisson sux, and Duhon is probably the best addition from this trade. 22 assists in one game, Duhon is poised to be a top assist man in the league. Only about 8 players averaged over 7 assists a game last season. Duhon could be next.
Administrative details: I have changed the veto period to 1 day, in the hopes that it will expedite the trade moving dates. I'm not sure that this will work. Weekly moves has been increased from 3 to 4. This will remain at 4 for the remainder of the season. Changes and adjustments can be addressed at the end of the season for next year. The trade timeline will continue to be adjusted until it's about 1 day for veto/2 days before moving.
